An AEA Actress, Kelsey was born and raised in Wichita, KS. But, as you might have guessed, she is not in Kansas anymore. And while she loved The Wizard of Oz growing up, and played a munchkin twice, it was really Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music that sparked a love of performance. After using a few too many household objects as microphones to sing "The Hills Are Alive," her mother sent her to a local theatre day camp. That particular community theatre stole her heart at the ripe age of 6 and she never looked back. As she got older educational, summer stock, and regional theatre sent her all across the country from Colorado to Kentucky and West Virginia to New York City. Throughout these travels Kelsey's growth as an actor has far exceeded her growth in height, for what that's worth. With the slight frame of a 4'11" woman and the bravado of a middle class white man, Kelsey is, what
some might call, "scrappy."
